Here’s a new take on chicken ‘n’ waffles—made better with beer, bacon, and bourbon. It’s the ultimate manly man meal.

Made a quicker variation using leftover pumpkin waffles warmed in the toaster, Sliced Deli Rotisserie turkey, Havarti Cheese, lettuce tomato a thin slice of cranberry sauce and (workday version) maple mustard mayo. (2TBSP grade B Maple Syrup, 2 TBSP Mayo (or salad dressing) 1TSP spicy brown mustard mixed thoroughly. Spread mayo on warm waffles, stack the rest on spreading more mayo between layers. Enjoy. This recipe was the inspiration for that.

Delicious! My boyfriend has four loves in life: bacon, beer, whiskey, and me! So obviously this recipe managed to incorporate 3 of those things. The chicken had a really nice flavor and it was really easy to make - even though it took over an hour to make. I would suggest pouring the syrup over the waffles before you eat them - wayyyy too messy! Just put it in a dish and dip in. Overall a great recipe for impressing your main man.
