For a splash of summer freshness, no matter what the season, try this quick mango-pepper crostini appetizer. Cream cheese balances the spicy sweetness.

thin slices French baguette bread

cup purchased fruit salsa

Directions

  • 1 Spread cream cheese on baguette slices.
  • 2 Spoon 1 teaspoon fruit salsa over cream cheese, using slotted spoon.

Expert Tips

If you can't find pineapple cream cheese spread, use the plain variety instead.

The Mango-Pepper Salsa is also delicious served with lime-flavored tortilla chips or spooned over grilled salmon or chicken.
