Mango Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 limes
  • 1/4 cup coarse (kosher or sea) salt
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 1/2 cups mango juice drink from concentrate (35% juice)
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur

    Cut 4 thin slices from 1 lime; set aside. Cut 1 small wedge from same lime. Squeeze remaining limes to get 1/4 cup juice; set aside.

    Rub lime wedge around rim of 4 margarita glasses. Sprinkle salt on small flat plate; dip rim of each glass into salt. Fill glasses with crushed ice.

    In 4-cup glass measuring cup, mix mango juice, tequila, liqueur and reserved 1/4 cup lime juice. Pour mixture over ice in glasses. Garnish each drink with lime slice.

  • When purchasing mango juice for this easy Mango Margaritas recipe, check the label to make sure it contains mango puree concentrate.
  • To give your Mango Margaritas a sweeter taste, substitute 2 tablespoons granulated sugar for half of the coarse salt for rimming the glasses.
