cup chocolate-flavored syrup

large scoops vanilla ice cream (about 1 1/2 cups total)

  • 1 Put the milk, chocolate syrup and ice cream in the blender. Cover blender with lid, and blend on low speed about 10 seconds or until smooth.
  • 2 Pour the shake into the glasses. Serve right away with the straws.

Expert Tips

Make a Cookies 'n' Cream Shake: Add 2 tablespoons crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies to the milk, chocolate syrup and ice cream before blending.

Make a Malted Milk Shake: Add 1/4 cup malted milk powder to the milk, chocolate syrup and ice cream before blending.

Make a Double Chocolate Shake: Use 3 large scoops chocolate ice cream instead of the vanilla ice cream.
