This makes WAY more than 7 servings. 28 ounces of cream cheese, 16 ounces of cheddar = almost three pounds of cheese. I scaled it way back. If you don't like those cheese ball seasonings? Use a typical one and just follow the "technique." I just LOVE the idea though - absolutely adorable.

I loved the look and the flavor was OK. Everyone loved how cute the snowmen were and did not want to eat them but once they were "cut into" people kept coming back. Regrettably it made way too much. I had enough for 2 separate occasions but only 1/4 was eaten each time so there was an awful lot wasted. If I make it again I will make 1/2 the recipe.

I made this snowman cheese ball for Christmas and served with a variety of crackers...Everyone thought it was adorable and delicious. It was easy to make and a whimsical idea. I definitely will make it again and it serves a crowd.

I made this exactly as directed and it was a huge hit. I used sharp cheddar cheese since that wasn't specified and it was yummy! It was a show stopper and it also tasted fantastic(both flavors...head and body). I'm emailing the recipe right now to those that requested it! Thank you!

I made this at Christmas and we were not impressed with it at all. It wasn't hard to make we just didn't like the flavor.

Big hit. Did not add the basil because of picky kids at party. Able to form ballshapes right away so skipped the fridge time. Used bacon for the scarf easy and delicious. I will next time use less and make little snow balls for sampling because no one wanted to ruin frosty. Parsley and craisins for crown, small carrot tip nose, cut up olive eyes and buttons, and sliver cherry tomatoe for smile thin bread sticks for arms. Will definitely make again thanks for the recipe.

Made this in the summer. Instead of making a snowman, I used red pipping and made the balls look like baseballs for a theme party. Huge hit!
