EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Candy works best to make funny faces and designs. Avoid using chocolate because it'll melt before your cookies are done.

These are really more like muffins--when you use the muffin top pan. So they were really yummy for breakfast the next morning with a pat of butter. For a more grown-up look, I omitted the candy and used toasted walnuts mixed in the batter. These are very easy to make.

I love these, they have great flavor and the texture of them is wonderful. They would make great cookies for a cookie exchange durning the holidays all you need to do is not at the candies or just decorate them for Christmas instead of Halloween

Im not sure what the person before me ate, but I have made these with my kids for the last 3 years in a row...they love them...they have a cake texture to them and so taste a little like pumpkin cake. There easy to let the little ones help make also. The only diffrence I can say is I use fresh pumpkin (I bake a small pumpkin like a baked potato in the oven just poke some holes in it with a fork is all to see if its done, when its done the fork will go in very easy, gently scoop out the seeds and put the pumpkin pulp in a blender the skin just falls away..waalaa pumpkin..then I mix everthing for the mix in the blender so as to make only one mess) Maybe the other person used a off brande of pumpkin in a can (which I dont use)is why there''s had no taste. I highly recomend this expecially if you are looking for something to do with kids..this also taste''s great with a small dab of cream cheese frosting on top.YUMMY!
