It may look indulgent, but this cake was heaven sent! The fat-free cake and low-fat topping keep the fat and calories in check.

This is a great cake that my family requests often on their birthdays. I make it more chocolatey by adding 2 T. cocoa powder to the cake mix before mixing for a chocolate angel food cake. I also add toffee crumbles in the middle layer, and I double the icing recipe to cover the sides of the cake as well. It's a big hit - and not too sinful either!

The flavor is really good, but in terms of presentation, the cake tends to fall in on itself because the toppings make it too heavy.

This was a very good light dessert for those of us watching calories. I used a store bought angel food cake because I''m a "semi-homemade" girl. I also used fat-free pudding and it came out wonderfully!!

Good recipe. I made it into cupcakes and used the pudding mixture only as icing on top. Tasted great but did not look that pretty.
