EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Orange roughy hails from New Zealand. Low-fat and firm-fleshed, it has a mild flavor and is available in most supermarkets.

Preheating the pan before adding the fish helps to create a crisp bottom crust.

This versatile coating is delicious with any mild-flavored fish, such as cod, sole, catfish or walleye.

My Family just loves this dish, I make it at least 3 times a month, I would highly recommend if you like fried fish without the calories. I use Tapila and it is simply YUMMY!!!!!!

This is an execellent recipe! I have tried for years to get my children to eat fish with all sorts of recipes and never had any luck until I tried this one. It's fast and easy and turns out great every time. I've even substituted Cod and Flounder and it's just as excellent. It's become a weekly dish at our house.
