I have read all these positive comments. That's what made me try this recipe. But my muffins were just horrible! The lemon flavor was very faint, and I tasted no Rosemary at all. But the worse part, was they were so soooooo dry and chokey. Absolutely terrible. I am so disappointed.

These lemon-herb muffins were fantastic. I used fresh rosemary from the garden that I dried in the oven just before mixing into the batter. And for a special touch, I added a little poppy seed to the batter. I was afraid that there would not be a very noticeable lemon flavor to these but the lemony sweet flavor was obvious and delicious.

this is an awesome recipe but the second time I made them it was for a brunch and I exchanged the herb for 1/2 of dried lavender. They were fabulous and I received wonderful reviews. Everyone was trying to guess the secret ingredient.
