wait wait wait stop. Yes, it's very very very pretty. Visually, it's peferction. But has anyone actually tried to read this yet? I gave it a fair shot read it all the way through. Is it me, or are magazines getting visually prettier, but in terms of the actual writing, a lot duller? The ideas were good, but the writing was incredibly clunky.

Made this for supper tonight and found it delightful. The sweet crispness of the pea pods, the crunch of the almonds, and the tang of the lemon was great. I have used Suddenly Salad as a base for many great salads. However, in the recipe as printed, I believe there was an omission. Shouldn't the pasta be added to the mix somewhere? Just sayin'. Thanks for another great time-saving recipe.

Made this first time last night, with a few changes. No pea pods, used celery. Added black olives. Both my husband and I liked it a lot. I used left over chicken not canned. Good way to use it up. Will make this again only use ranch dressing and bacon bits instead of the Suddenly Salad mix.

This is a quick, easy salad. My family won't eat those pea-pod thingies so I skip those and add thawed frozen peas. Serve a good sized scoop on a bed of lettuce, add thick sliced sourdough bread with margarine, and sliced fresg pears, and you are good to go! Quick, tasty, healty, and filling.

I made this for a recent church potluck; it was easy to make, and it went FAST!!! I will definitely make this again.

Here in Sedona, AZ this recipe is perfect for all the sunny days we have to eat out on our deck. It's quick, tasty, AND nice and crunchy on top of a bed of romaine lettuce. Best of all, my husband loves it, and he's not normally a cold pasta eater. Thanks!! Joy

This is the second recipe I have made from BettyCrocker.com and, so far, I have to say I'm not impressed (I'm going to try some of the desserts to be fair). This recipe is too lemony. Also it would be better without the peas. The Suddenly Salad mixes have an overpowering artificial taste to them and I don't care for them alone. I was hoping the other ingredients would dress it up a bit. It didn't. The chicken, pasta, and almonds are good together though.

Very bland Might be better if shrimp were used instead of checken. Still needs something -- tomato, sun dried tomato, red pepper.

Not bad at all, easy and quick. For those of you that practice the art of "epicure" I added some TARAGON before refrigerating the salad, the nose always knows best...trust me on this one. I served this salad with a crab soup, not a word was spoken throug-out the meal...my partner thought I spent a great deal of time on this, but I confess the time was cut in half using the sudden salad mix.
