This cake was great. Made it for my fiancé's birthday. We have been trying to be good and loose a little weight and this cake was very light. I saw someone say the icing wasn't sweet enough. That is because it's not icing. It is as the title states, mousse, its not suppose to be overly sweet.

This is an ok recipe but I won't make it again. I didn't like the frosting. I made the frosting exactly as the recipe calls for but it was too bland for us, not nearly sweet enough. I didn't even put it on the cake. I remade the frosting by beating the whipping cream and adding a lot of sugar to it, then I added a little bit of the raspberry filling and it was much better. My extended family all said they liked the cake, but when I offered them some to take home, no one wanted it. I also didn't have any luck straining out the seeds, the seeds got through anyways and it just dirtied more dishes. I won't make this again.

One of the best cake recipes I have ever used!!! This cake is heavenly, and will be a regular holiday dessert, among other occasions in the family. My neighbor has even requested that I make this cake for her Bridal Shower in July... Amazing, Amazing, Amazing.

This cake is amazing!! So easy but yet scrumptious! I couldn't find raspberry pie filling so I used raspberry preserves and I can't imagine it turning out any better. Served this at a baby shower and everyone LOVED it!! Def a keeper!

This is a really wonderful cake. The lemon and raspberry flavors go very well together. I also made a version of this with white cake, which made the process easier since I used a cake mix. I think I liked that cake even more! It was a huge hit at a baby shower I hosted. I actually heard guests say it was the best cake they'd ever eaten! And the pink and white was perfect since the baby is a girl.:)

Best cake I've ever made!!! I added about half a package of softened cream cheese to the mousse. This is a new family favorite!!! I don't know why some people rated this recipe low. They didn't even have the decency to write a comment and explain themselves. People should't rate recipes if they don't try them.

This recipe was great! The only thing I did extra was add just a tiny bit of fresh lemon juice. I took the extra time to strain out the raspberry seeds and the frosting was perfection. This is something that I will definately bake again. Delicious.

I made this for Easter and everyone loved it, my sister asked if I would make it for her birthday. It was so moist and refreshing since we are finally starting to get some nice weather(cleveland). I did make small white choco curls and put them all around the bottom for extra decoration, it was awesome. very easy as well
