It was really good. I used the other half can on top. It baked up so well. I also made one with blueberry and one with cherry pie fillings. Had a Mah Jongg club over and put these out with a bowl of whipped cream and let all help themselves--and boy did they! Thanks Betty!

This dessert was so easy to make and DELICIOUS! I made it to bring on Mothers Day and everyone loved it. Bread pudding is one of my husband's favorites and he is waiting for me to make it again.

If you like lemon flavor, this is a good one. Delicious...not overly sweet. I found the recipe easy to make. The only variation I used was cubed italian bread instead of french (store was out of french). Good hot or cold. The only confusing part was what to do with the extra "mix" once you use all of the bread cubes. I decided not to add/pour it over the top layer of bread cubes. It didn't come out dry, so I'm guessing I did the right thing...although I will make this again and perhaps pour some of it over the top before baking. The lemon whip topping was easy and capped a nice dessert.
