1
package (9 ounces) frozen cooked chicken breast strips, thawed and cut in half if necessary
1
jar (1 pound) roasted garlic Parmesan pasta sauce (white sauce)
1
bag (1 pound) Green Giant® frozen broccoli cuts, thawed, drained and patted dry
2
cups Original Bisquick® mix
1
cup milk
1/2
cup sour cream
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Heat oven to 375°. Heat chicken, pasta sauce and broccoli to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently. Spread half of mixture in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches.
  • 2 Stir Bisquick mix, milk and sour cream until blended. Pour half of batter over chicken mixture in pan. Spread with remaining chicken mixture; top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 3 Bake uncovered about 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Expert Tips

Look for the roasted garlic Parmesan pasta sauce in the aisle with other pasta sauces. If you can't find it or want to use something else, your favorite Alfredo sauce will work well, too.

Traditional divan is an ensemble of chicken breasts, broccoli spears and a rich cream sauce. We've cut the prep by using frozen chicken strips, frozen broccoli and a purchased sauce and adding fluffy biscuit layers to make it divinely delicious!

This was a HUGE hit with my family and the friend I shared some with. I made my own Alfredo, adding 2 small cloves of garlic. I used FRESH chicken and FRESH broccoli. I think that is why it is so good. I think next time I will add fresh mushrooms as well.

This recipe was a family hit! My husband and picky daughter both loved it! We will be making this often! Next time I plan on adding just a few chopped onions. A+
