Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients

cups water

cup sugar

tablespoon dried lavender*
Juice of 4 lemons (about 1 cup)
Ice cubes
  • 1 In small saucepan, stir together 1 cup of the water, the sugar and lavender with whisk. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes.
  • 2 Pour lemon juice into pitcher. Strain sugar syrup into pitcher, discarding lavender. Add remaining 4 cups water; stir well. Add ice to pitcher or individual glasses for serving.
