16

15
ounce can italian tomato sauce
15
ounce can italian tomato sauce
1
egg
8
lasagna noodles
1/2
cup parmesan cheese
  1. Boil lasagna noodles according to boxed directions, drain and set aside. While noodles are cooking, brown ground beef in a skillet and drain.
  2. Add both cans of tomato sauce to ground beef. Heat until simmering, then remove from heat. In a small bowl mix ricotta cheese, egg, and parmesan (mixture will be slightly creamy).
  3. In a 13x9 pan spread 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sauce mixture onto bottom of pan. Layer with 4 lasagna noodles, slightly overlapping is fine. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over noodles, then layer with half of the remaining sauce mixture. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layer process with remaining ingredients.
  4. Bake lasagna, (uncovered for a crispier cheese topping, or covered with foil for a softer cheese topping) at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
