Kristie's Goulash

Yummy dish, filled with bursts of flavor! This is a casserole style dish that is EASY to make!

pkg elbow noodles

lb. ground beef

jar ragu sauce (any flavor)

2 cup pkg. colby and jack shredded cheese

11 x 13 glass baking pan
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stove top: Boil your noodles according to package directions. While the water is boiling, go on to step two.
  2. Brown your ground beef. Drain. Break into tiny pieces using a whisk. I pound it down with the head of my whisk.
  3. Drain your noodles.
  4. Pour your beef and noodles into your glass pan. Pour your Ragu over the meat and noodles. Mix well. Spread out. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over your dish.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, allowing 5 minutes to cool.
  7. Dig IN!!!!!! It's eating time!!!! :)

Mushrooms and black olives are a great addition to this meal. I cut them out now that we have kids who don't want to touch them. Funny, Goulash is actually their favorite dinner! :)
