For a festive finale to a gathering, try this pretty treat that serves 24. You can have it chilling in less than an hour.

I started making this last summer, and I got RAVE reviews. I followed the recipe EXACTLY and though it takes about 20 mins to get it in the fridge, I know it's worth it! Make a day ahead, always. ( one tip - put the bowl and metal beaters in the freezer for at least 15 mins before whipping the cream, and it comes up very easily.) I finish it off with cool whip on top cause it keeps in the fridge - but I only add that about an hour before I serve it. My friends always ask for it! Try it, and be patient.

The first time I tried this I found the lime taste to be overwhelming so the 2nd time I used chocolate graham crackers and drizzled a semi-sweet chocolate/water/splenda glaze over the top instead of the raspberries/sauce. As others have mentioned it is much better after the first day so I made it on Tuesday for a dinner party on Thursday evening. A resounding success with requests for the recipe. I used low-fat,sugar free for everything I could and no one could tell at all.

I love key lime desserts but if you are looking for quick and easy this is not it the recipe was difficult to follow. You have to have patience for the whipping cream and all to form. Then it litterally had to be in the fridge over 8 hours for it to become a finish product. So when using this recipe plan ahead. It was one of those desserts tht tasted better the next day.

This was outstanding! I used sugar-free lime gelatin and fat-free sweet condensed milk to cut down on calories and fat, and it was still a huge winner. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. Highly recommended!

Made this dessert this weekend - a very nice treat! I made a half recipe (only had have the graham crackers) so used a 9x9" pan. Very easy to pull together (my two kids helped me - ages 5 and 6!), looks beautiful on the plate! We garnished with fresh mint and raspberries. I did make the sauce but mistakenly bought the raspberry spread rather than the jam. Still tasted yummy! Overall an easy and beautiful, light dessert!

Made this for a cookout this past weekend and they were delicious. I added sweetened whipped cream on top of each serving which was a nice balance as they are very tart. It was very easy to make. Someone mentioned cooling before adding the whipped cream, but by the time you have it whipped, the jello and lime juice mixture was cooled enough. I made mine the night before and it worked out great.

so glad to see a recipe that uses real whipping cream and not that nasty white stuff in a tub

Sounds yummy ! Do you think the lime gelatin should be chilled a little before adding the whipped cream. Just asking !!!!
