Is a family Favorite. We are not very big on Italian sausage, so we use Kielbasa instead. WE love it!

I thought this recipe would be amazing, and it wasn't bad but I found it a little boring. I felt like it needed something, maybe some pesto or other light sauce. My boyfriend felt the same way and he is a big fan of italian sausage.

My boyfriend raves about this and it's one of his favorite dishes that I make. I substitute the squash for strips of green pepper (I'm not a squash fan) and it turns out delicious every time. Another keeper to pass down to my children someday! You will not be disappointed. Yummy!

Recipe was easy to make, but was bland and required a lot of other spices to make it tastier. I added sprinkles of onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, parsley and pepper I also browned the meat longer to taste. I also added more veggies than the recipe called for including 1 green summer squash and a yellow pepper. Be careful not too cook to long so that the tomatoes don't get too mushy.

I thought it was great. My husband didn't care to much for it. It did seem to be missing something. I think next time I will add more veggies.

A hit with the family! I had plum tomatoes from the garden & they substituted fine. We topped with parmesan cheese & had garlic bread on the side. Yummy!

Easy and delicious. My husband is completely wild about it. I have made this numerous times and it has been a hit with company too. Only thing I do different is substituting italian sausage with smoked sausage and cook it exactly to recipe. Oh yeah, and I top it with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Excellent!!

This is my new favorite pasta dish! Looks nothing like in the picture though. I used sweet Italian sausage and omitted the squash (I'm not a squash person). The tomatoes make a light tomato sauce, which tastes great with all the basil. My Italian boyfriend gave it his seal of approval.
