My parents are on a low-carb kick, so I was trying to find some recipes that would fit into their diet. I made this recipe without the bisquick and also added some mushrooms. It was fantastic!!

Absolutely amazing dish! I made a few edits based on what I had and what I like. I used sweet Italian sausage, Bertolli's Four Cheese Rosa (It has bits of sundried tomatoes in it) and Vine ripe tomatoes on top. I only had two negative thoughts... 1. As the peper is cooking with the sausage as well as in the oven they are very mushy, next time I will be adding it to the sausage just as I'm pouring it over the crust so it retains more crunch. 2. I first wondered how this could only serve four people as there was so much food without any sides adding into it, then I ate a piece and knew why, you just can't stop eating this, its to yummy!

This dish was decent. I think going forward, I will add mushrooms and onions to the sausage mixture. I used vegetarian sausage in place of real sausage. My boyfriend LOVED this dish!

This was a great dish. My wife cant have the spicy stuff so I used sweet italian sausage. It was great. What I used: Sweet Italian Sausage Cheesy Ragu Light Parm Alfredo Sauce Chopped Pepper Chopped Onion Sliced Mushroom And I put Fire Roasted Tomatoes on the top during the last couple minutes in the oven.

I will fix this dish again. Very good! I didn't have any green peppers on hand so I used onions and mushrooms. Alfredo sauce gave it a wonderful flavor!

My family loved this. I did as epoling suggested and put the tomatos on before. I will definatly make this again. My kids suggested trying some other sauces such as marinara or pesto as well. The fat content is quite high though. Maybe next time I will use light and lowfat ingrediants.

My family loves this casserole. I lighten it up by using turkey sausage and light alfredo sauce.
