I liked this, but tweaked it... I used fresh spinach, turkey meatballs, and added mushrooms, olives, and plenty of garlic and onion... I also eliminated the shredded cheese in spinach mixture, and substituted with fat free cottage cheese... next time I will do this, and eliminate the cream cheese. Definitely healthier, still as good. Topped with freshly grated parm... It was a hit

VERY good!! I did make homemade meatballs instead of frozen and I only put the bisquick on top instead of layered and it tasted amazing. HIGHLY recommend this recipe!!

The 13x9x2 was way to big for this meal, an 8x11x2 or even a 8x8 would have fit perfect. I didn't quite understand the reason for the layering, so I just did one layer. The pictured didn't look layered either. The cream cheese made it very rich. It was good, but very heavy. I also used homemade meatballs.

What a great hit this was at the potluck supper tonight! I have to say, though, that I doubled the amount of meatballs, sauce and cheese, used the suggested amount of cream cheese, Bisquick and spinach, and this fed a crowd!. What makes it so nice is it can be made ahead of time and cooked for just 30-45 minutes to brown the top. Super easy and tasty, and the spinach added color and extra nutrition. You'll want to try this one!

This was excellent. Really good. My 3 year old ate it and my 1 year old loved it! It tasted like deep dish spinach pizza. I did make a few changes though. I put about 2 12oz pkgs of meatballs. I'm glad I did because 16oz would not have even filled the 9x13 pan. I also put about a cup of cheddar cheese instead of a half cup of italian cheese in the cream cheese spinach mixture. However on top I put shredded mozzarella cheese. About 2 cups. So it was cheeser and more meaty than what the recipe called for. I will make this again and again.

If I could have gotten my bread to cook through this would have been really good.

This is a yummy meal! Even my husband was bummed when he wasn't able to have leftovers, because he was going out of town the next day. No modifications this time. Just a cornocoppia of flavor for the mouth. The spinach makes you feel like you're eating something healthy.

I usually love these recipes but there was just something about this one that wasn't up to par but I can't put my finger on the problem. Even my husband who LOVES Italian didn't finish his serving. I won't make this one again.

I had to make my own meatballs because the store was out of the frozen kind. However, my husband described this dish as "the BEST meal" I have ever cooked!!! It is truly delicious recipe!
