Expert Tips

Save the recipe for the dressing. It's a classic Italian dressing that gives a fresh taste to any salad.

Fresh broccoli flowerets get our vote for the prettiest and tastiest salad. You'll need about 3 cups flowerets to replace the amount in a 10-ounce package of chopped broccoli.

In a hurry? Use 1/2 cup of your favorite bottled Italian dressing instead of making it from scratch.
