This cake is amazing! I baked it, and toped it with <http://www.coolcake.com/store/editor.aspx>Edible cake sticker</a>, and it was a huge success!

What a great alternative to the traditional pumpkin pie. It was moist but in the future I think I will use a little less sugar in the frosting - it was a little too sweet for my taste. The cake was great, I made it in a 13x9" pan and added some chopped walnuts and my family loved it.

sounds like a perfect thanksgiving desert! Would it freeze well is made ahead of time? Does it need to be kept refrigerated with the cream cheese icing?

Best dessert I have made in years. Easy recipe, cake was super moist, everyone loved it. It looked just like the photo too. Next time I would like to make it in an oblong pan for ease of frosting.

This is the best pumpkin spice cake I have ever made and eaten. Be sure to use the candied ginger-it makes ALL the difference in the way it tastes as well as the texture. It is now in my selection of regular recipes for the fall/winter. A must make! Be sure to have with a glass of milk . . . it is sooooo gooooood!

I made this cake for the first time last fall when I found it in a B.C.cookbook at the checkout aisle. It was so delicious that I made it again a couple weeks later for when my parents came to visit and then again a month later for Thanksgiving. I gave the B.C. recipe book to one of my friends to use and she never gave it back and with fall coming up I was sad I didn't have the recipe! Thankfully I found it right away on here!! This is seriously sooooo soooo good!! Eat with a big glass of milk and you will be in heaven!

This has to be one of the best cakes I have ever had! I have a couple friends who don't really like pumpkin and they loved it as well. The icing is a perfect match!
