I made this cake for my twins 3rd bday...i have a boy and a girl and its not easy coming up w a generic cake that makes them both happy...one likes vanilla and of course the other chocolate so I made one of each....i followed the recipe but not the design...i used gummy lifesavers for the face and gum drops for the feet...instead of making it one color i used 5 different colors for a rainbow effect using white frosting and gel colors..the antenna were the candles with the last candle in its back...they came out fantastic!!!! I will admit I was worried one might topple over so be careful when you make the cuts and make them straight...lol.. The cakes were so moist and both my kids got cakes that looked like their favorite stuffed animals....I cant wait to see what other recipes I can find!

I added GUMMY WORMS to the inside of the cake. The kids loved it and had a blast pulling out the gummy worms from their cake, and it is such a cute idea!

For such a cool looking cake, I was surprised how easy this was to make! We made it for my 4 year old daughter's "buggy" birthday and she was able to help make it. It turned out GREAT and everyone loved it. Would recommend this!!

This is the first decorative cake I ever made and it was so easy. If I can make it anyone can. It was fun to make.

me and my best friend made this cake for my friend's brother's birthday and he was turning 18 and he still loved it!! its great for any age. it works beter if you chill the cake before frosting for about 30 minutes. what we did to make the inside of the cake more decorative was add drops of food dye to the batter while it was in the bundt cake pan (before baking it) and swirled it around with a toothpic. it lookd like blue swirls on the inside when we cut it! it was delicious and adorable and soo easy to make. i definitley reccomend it =]
