I thought this tasted ok. I wasn't crazy about the taste of the crust. I think the taste of the eggs came out too much and that's what I didn't like. My husband and kids like this though so I will probably make it again.

I was first introduced to this receipe by my friend's mom when we were kids. I re-introduced it to my oldest when he was little and he and his friends used to eat a whole tray by themselves. I just dug it out again 10 years later and made a couple of adjustments - we put the salsa right in as the second layer after the meat then put the cheese on last we pour the batter on top..and I am happy to say there is never any left over!

Had a crowd to feed, so I increased eggs, milk, and baking mix by 50%. Added a can of corn and a can of black beans, some cumin, garlic powder, and about a half cup of salsa to the meat mixture along w taco spices....baked in lasagna pan and topped w Monterey jack cheese at the end....one word....YUM.

I didn't know about this when I first saw it, but I had all the ingredients, so thought I would try it. It was full of flavor, my husband and 5 yr old son ate it up. My husband asked me to double it next time, so he could have some for lunch leftovers. We had it with a garden salad. Yummy!

I was worried that this wasn't going to be as good as I thought it should be. Then, when I went in for a second helping, I realized I was out of luck...my family had devoured it! Super recipe and I highly recommend!

Perfect! All I added was half a can of corn, cilantro, and garlic to the meat mixture. Picky father loved it. Just spicy enough.

Delish, kids love it! Baked in an 8x8 square dish. Added drained can of rotel (tomatoes and chilies) to the meat mixture. Served with a can of Mexi-corn on the side. Perfect quick n easy meal. I'll make it again soon!

my family is also extremely picky, and everyone loved this. i mixed the meat with 1 cup of salsa to make it juicier. next time i will add a can of corn like someone suggested, and perhaps some fresh tomato. this is one recipe that you really can't mess up!
