aaah it was deeeeelicious! a big hit at my friend's house for the after funeral get-together. I really like it.. I ignored one part of the recipe that you sprinkled the nutmeg on top of milk mixture and parmesan cheese. Instead I put the nutmeg in the milk mixture so that it is even out. My friend could taste the nutmeg. I used 4% small curd cottage cheese and use whole milk... it makes a difference, really.. I usually use skim milk but decided not to. And as for 1/2 cup cottage cheese, I used more than it calls for.. and I used 7 X 11 pan.. It is nice because you can slice into squares.

I love spinach but thought this was kind of bland. If I make it again I will try the suggestion of adding feta cheese. I think that would give it the kick it needs. I put dill in it because I didn't have nutmeg and I did like that flavor in it.

Why did you use the same picture for the spinach pie as you used for the zucchini pie? They both needed a bit more seasoning.

This was horrible and flavorless, one of the worst recipes I've tried...EVER....I don't understand how so many people are giving it good reviews. I'd maybe understand if I deviated from the recipe and it turned out bad, but I followed the recipe word for word....and it tasted like cardboard. The people who thought this recipe was good....should try a few more different ones off this site....there are WAYYYYY better ones. DON"T MAKE THIS. Wish I could have given it at rating of 0...but they make you give it at least one spoon....Horrible.

Just got done making this and we love love love it. I used the Bisquick reduced, skim milk, low fat cottage cheese (blended slightly in food processor, 1/2 cup feta cheese. I also like to double the recipe and cook it in a 8 x 10 pan so I get a nice thick piece to serve. This has to bake longer than suggested. When it is golden brown (not burnt) and firm to the touch, it is done. Let is set for a couple of minutes before serving. Awesome

I havent made this yet although it looks yummy... I wonder if using dry cottage cheese that is in the bag would make it not so soupy or trying ricotta? I will be experimenting myself just from the reviews. I am curious with the other writer why this has a bottom crust when obviously it doesnt and it also is the same picture as the zucchini and tomatoe easy pie... I was wondering why I didnt see any tomatoes in the other picture. I selected 3 just because it sounds appetizing and it makes you pick a rating.

I made this for my mom for mothers day, so she wouldn''t have to cook one night of the week. It was a hit. As a cooking novice, I''d have to agree that this was impossibly easy.

My family, especially my "discriminating" (i.e. picky)15-year old son! He would eat a whole pie by himself if I let him! I added some shredded swiss cheese on top of the cottage cheese, and I used a small amount of sweet vidalia onion in place of the green onions.
