This is a good recipe.. But I changed the black beans to pintos as my family doent like the Black beans.. I also added, the green chilis and some chopped jalapenos and anaheims and more salas and cumin.. after that it was really great and had lots of southwestern taste.I like to use the mexican cheese also..

This was a good recipe. It would be GREAT if it had a little more flavor. Next time I will add a little meat or add a spicier salsa as well as some salt an other seasonings. We did serve with sour cream and chopped lettuce and that tasted good. I think adding some chopped green chilies/jalapenos would have worked well also. My kids ate it and the family told me it was a keeper!

Added some cumin, a little chopped jalapeno, a little left over taco beef, and extra cheese. Soooo Yummy, will make again soon. Very good!! Would also be good with mushrooms.

I have to agree, this was really bland. Needs turkey, chili powder, salt, and whatever else you can think of to give it some zest. My children didn't like it. But the top layer was fun.

Very tasty! I'm surprised it hasn't been rated higher previously. It's become a staple dinner in our home. My husband loves it, kids love it. We always have some extra salsa and sour cream on hand, and often avocado slices, too. It's always enjoyable, and you don't miss the meat in this meal.

This was so good! My family loved it. I added ground turkey with taco seasoning, and made it into a casserole. Top with sour-cream!! Yummy!!

I turned this into a healthier recipe using egg beaters, turkey and lowfat cheese. I also add olives. We top it with lettuce, chopped tomatos and fat free sour cream. Makes a very pretty dinner guest recipe when baked in a nice glass dish.
