As a whole, this recipe is easy and acceptable. However, we found the topping of Bisquick to be very bland (3 stars for that portion). Next time, I'd add a sprinkle of something like garlic salt to the bisquick mix. It needed something for sure. I followed another reviewers suggestions for tweaking the sauce a bit, and my family really enjoyed it (5 stars for the meat sauce).

I made this recipe for my 2 1/2 year old son who loves sloppy joes. I made some revisions to the original recipe. I placed a small onion and a handful of baby carrots in the food processor and added them to the sauteing ground beef. I did use ketchup but also added some tomato sauce, worstershire, brown sugar, celery salt, garlic powder, and cajun seasoning to the sauce. The pie came out very tasty! I liked the easy of prep and the short cooking time. I will be making this again. My two year old LOVED this!!

When I told my family what we were having for dinner, they were not impressed. After taking one bite, they were all hooked. My family loved this and I have been passing this it to all my friends and family. I have not heard one complaint yet!

This was really tasty. I used a can of Del Monte original Sloppy Joe and added a can of light red kidney beans. I used my chopper to cut the beans smaller. It was very easy to make. I will make this again. Everyone liked it!

This is wonderful (as are all the Impossible pies). With corn as a veg, for a south-western flair, and lots of ketchup, it was really hard to believe how fast and easy this is to make. I make an "impossible" pie once every week or 10 days and our whole family loves them all. Thanks Betty. :)

EXCELLENT! I also add Sloppy Joe mix and a little cheese. With a veggie on the side, it is quick, excellent and everyone enjoys.

I grew up eating this and now that I've moved away from home I've started making it. This dish is so simple yet so delicious- I could eat the entire thing every time.
