I've made this recipe twice and my picky, macaroni and cheese expert love it! After reading some of the reviews I decided to pre-cook the macaroni a bit (5 minutes) and I added a teaspoon of season salt to the mix. Sure, it doesn't cook in 40 minutes like the recipe says (more like 50-55 minutes), but it's pretty darn good!

Worst Mac 'n Cheese recipe ever. Noodles were not cooked, noodles and cheese did not mix together and it was a disaster. Worst of all it was a waste of time and ingredients. My recommendation - do not make this recipe - save your time & money!

OK , I usually dont have any problems with recipe's I try, But this recipe has afew problems. Even tho I sprayed the bottom of my dish it still stuck badly..Then the Macaroni was still kinda hard. I may try this recipe again But I will motify it a little differantly, My kids still ate it(they are teenagers), they will eat anything.lol I also added Hamburger to it.

Excellent dish! Our 14 month old daughter couldn't get enough! Instead of spraying the foil, I used the non-stick kind and it worked perfectly. There were no issues with the macaroni not cooking through or an eggy taste. I did notice that the macaroni did brown on the bottom and that gave it a crunchy-ness. The next time I make it I will be adding some salt, pepper, and onion salt to the Bisquick mix and maybe some ham or cut up hot dog. But I will be making this again!

This recipe was good. It went over well with my mac and cheese loving husband. It was easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly and did no have any issues. I will use it again in a pinch.

First of all, half the topping came off with the tinfoil, that I did spray. The middle never firmed up and was mushy. It was awful! I was so excited about how easy it was to put together. Wish I would have read the reviews first.

I must be the exception..I put eggs in it so I knew I would taste eggs.. I dont understand how the others put them in and expected to not taste them.You cannot leave them out since it is egg that helps hold it together. If they expect this to taste like macaroni and cheese they should open a box of kraft.I did not expect it to taste like mac and cheese out of a box when I put eggs, and bisquick in it.I am not sure what the word 'egg-y' means but I assume they are the same people who expect recipes made with bisquick to taste and look like something on food network or a restaurant.

Totally disappointed in this receipe. I should have read the reviews first. Crust was overdone, pasta completely underdone and the eggyness of the dish was very apparent. Will not make it again. Although I will say my three dogs seemed to love it regardless of the issues I had with eating it.
