Dinner's impossibly easy! Top this sausage pie with a spoonful of warm pasta sauce, and you'll think you're eating pizza.

My family and I love this recipe! My son especially. It is quick and easy and I definitely recommend trying it. Sometimes we make it with sausage and meatballs for a different twixt. Very tasty!

Needed to use a pound of Italian Sausage Ground Turkey and didn't have pasta or tomato sauce. This recipe hit the spot. Browned turkey, microwaved bag of italian veges; sprinkled cheese then added parm. cheese to the topping (basil, oregano, garlic salt). Yummy and no trip to SaveMart for pasta that would have turned into $20!

Leave it to me to mess up an easy recipe! I made the bisquick mixture too early and I am assuming that is why my pie doesn't look right? It doesn't look like the picture... no veggies poking through, just pie crust! It tastes good though :)

This made a great dinner. It was very colorful after baking. It was also insanely easy. However, the basic recipe, found here, could use some improvement. I even followed two reviewers' suggestions and the flavor still came out incredibly bland. Next time, I think I will incorporate green chillies and cook it with the sausage. In the vegetable layer I will add some bell pepper and spices like paprika or dried jalepeno. I topped my pie with an incredible amount of cheddar, so instead I may use a little less cheese but use something like a jalapeno-cheddar or a pepper jack cheese.

This is such an easy recipe! My family loves it. The only change I've made is to add a small can or two of chopped green chilis. This gives it a little more flavor as it can come out a bit bland.

I made this without changing the recipe. It turned out real well. I did not add pasta sauce to the top, it was not needed. I served it with a green salad. This is a great hidden vegetable dish to feed to toddlers.

Very Good! I needed a dish to take to a work Christmas party. I tripled the recipe so that it went into a 9 X 13 pan. For a Red and Green Christmas theme, I used only frozen peas and some chopped red peppers. You know, not the hot ones, like the green peppers, but they are red. I also had a jar of Alfredo sauce that I mixed half and half with the milk. So I used 1 1/2 cups milk and 1 1/2 cups Alfredo sauce. This made it more creamier and gave it that cheesy taste. As this is kind of salty and I am always watching my salt, I left the salt out.

Yum! My husband and I really enjoyed this one. I only had spaghetti sauce on hand, so I used that to top it off. Plus we sprinkled some Parmesan (have to have our cheese, of course!) There was barely any left, my husband had to choose not to have another piece just because he wanted enough left for lunch...that's a great sign! Mmmm...

This dish was great. I was a little worried that it might not turn out well but it was very good and the kids loved it. I also doubled the recipe and added mozzerella cheese to the dish but we didn''t serve anything on top of it. I don''t think it needed it. This is quick and easy and would recommend it to anyone!
