EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Make an Impossibly Easy Bacon Pie by using 12 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled, instead of the ham.

Shredded Swiss or Colby-Monterey Jack cheese can be used instead of the Cheddar cheese.

Complete this tasty meal with steamed broccoli spears and your favorite Bisquick® biscuits.

Since our first time making this recipe, we have removed the apple and added a little more cheese and ham. Sometimes if I haven't had ham, I have substituted with bacon, fantastic! This dish has become one of our go-to recipes.

I made a huge ham last night and was looking for something different to do with the leftovers. I had all the ingredients needed for this pie except for the green onion so I substituted regular onion. I should have cooked it a little ahead of time so it wasn't so strong. Other than that, it was wxcellent and everyone loved it. I should have made 2 because there are no leftovers and we all could have eaten more!! Will definately make again and share with friends. Thanks for a quick and easy meal!!
