I absolutely love this recipe !!!! I used a brown sugar substitute instead of the real thing for the first time and it came out beautifully :) My family can't wait until I make it again !

This is excellent! I was sick of making apple pies and crumb cakes and this recipe seems to combine the best of both worlds. There was a custard-like or bread pudding texture to it, which I liked. I had to use a Bisquick substitute since I didn't have any one hand and it takes just fine. I used walnuts for this recipe and chopped them into very small bits.

This was simple and delicious. The second time I made it I substituted Splenda for the granulated sugar and you would never have known. The entire pan was devoured! Definitely a quick, easy and yet elegant( with whipped cream) dessert.

This was absolutely one of the best desserts I have ever made, and so simple! My hubby is already asking when I am making it again. (Soon, for sure!)

This is an excellent recipe. Easy and quick to make. I read it too fast and mixed spices with the apples then dumped the sugar, milk, and Bisquick mixed it all with the apples them added it to the pan. (Saved myself another bowl to wash.) Added the strussle topping and it came out fine. Great warm or cold. Husband loved it. Will make again.

Wow this is so good! It reminds me of a bread pudding and is great warm with a good vanilla bean ice cream! This is my new favorite fall dessert!

Earlier I had left message that I was jumping the gun since I had not made this yet. Well, it was such a hit with hubby that he wants me to make it monthly! It will be a good pot-luck dish so I had better get copies for all those who ask for it. Could not have been easier and of course Bisquick is a dream to bake with. Keep the recipes coming.....

I have made this twice in the last two weeks with rave reviews from everyone who ate it. It's wonderful warm with whip cream but also good the next day cold. I served it with whip cream but would be good with ice cream as well. It reminded me of egg custard topped with an apple pie! I mixed Gala apples and Granny smith the second time I made it.
