What could be easier than a cheesecake that makes its own crust while baking? And what could be more delicious than pumpkin cheesecake?

Yummy! Very good, very cheesecakey, very pumpkiny. Also very good wuth topping, a little bit to sour creamy though. Going to add a tad more sugar next time. I used pumpkin pie filling because I did not have the canned pumpkin on hand. I just added slightly less sugar as the pie filling is just canned pumpkin with a little sugar in it. There's no eggs or milk in it like people say there is. If you use the pie filling just make sure you use half a can because it is 30 oz and the recipe calls for 15 oz of pumpkin. Verr good. I served mine with the sour cream frost, whipped cream, chopped pecans, a dash of cinnamon and melted caramel! Yummy!

I just made this recipe with Gluten-Free Bisquick. (My daughter has Celiac). It turned out wonderful! So excited to have something new to fix for gatherings that she can actually eat and enjoy!

I have been making this for years..Love it, as well as do my kids and my daughter, who doesn't cook much, even started making it,I found it in an old Betty Crocker cook book, this recipe here is missing the orange peel, which adds a little tang../and I also make it in a blender, which the recipe I have suggested.

The cheesecake looked beautiful but this was the most blend tasting cheesecake I have ever tasted. It didn't taste like cheesecake at all. I was really disappointed....oh well, back to Betty Crocker's cheesecake recipes to see if I can find something else. Betty Crocker's recipes are usually always the best. I followed the steps to the "T".......NEXT....

This Cheesecake turned out absolutely beautiful. I did however tweek it a bit. I used 12oz of cream cheese, 2 tbsp of pumpkin pie spice, and a full cup of sugar. I also used confectioners sugar rather then granulated to blend together w/the sour cream topping(I was fearful the topping might be gritty if I used granulated.) Then I folded about a tsp and a half of orange zest into the sourcream topping as well. Superb!

OMG This is the best cheesecake ever, I dont think I will ever want just a plain cheesecake again. I doubled the recipe and added a little bit more pumpkin spice, it smelled so good while it was cooking that I could barely wait. It is cooling right now but we might have to dip into it warm. Everyone should try it.

Yummy, but I think it needed more spices (I will do that next time) Much better on day two and remember to serve well chilled.

This is such a good recipe as it is. It's so easy and the sour cream topping is so tremendous. The cream cheese is subtle. So,I will probably add another half package of cream cheese next time I make this since I prefer it to be stronger. But this is definitely a keeper. Much better (and cheaper) than buying one from the store!

I loved this pumpkin cheesecake. It had the pumpkin pie flavor and texture, but the great cheesecake richness. I used some substitutes in it: I used WW cream cheese and egg beaters to reduce the calories/fat. The topping was amazing. I used 1/2 a cup instead of a full cup of sour cream and added more vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.
