Instead of stuffing individual chiles for this traditional Mexican dish, just layer canned chiles with cheese and egg and bake.

This was a big hit - very easy and very good. Should convert easily to a mini recipe also.

I doubled this recipe tonite for dinner and there isn't a crumb left. Everyone enjoyed it, even those people that don't like Mexican foods.

I made this for dinner last night and it so reminded me of a recipe I got as an Army wife back in the early 70's. It was using the whole green chiles, lots of cheese and so on. Both are excellent! Anything quick to put together for a meal at my age I'm all for, and this I will be making again!

This was really good and "impossibly easy". But next time I will probably do a second layer of chiles and chesse.

Delicious for any meal. I just put sour cream on top and had a corn tortilla on the side. So yummy.

ive been making a version of this for years, everyone loves it. I don't use salsa though just plain old tomato sauce and it is great.
