Preparing casseroles like this one is impossibly quick and easy, not to mention delicious, when you stock items like frozen meatballs.

Family really enjoyed this meal. I felt the potatoes though needed more seasoning than just salt and pepper. This would be good as mini pies also.

I made this a couple weeks ago and my family loved it. I did make a couple changes to it before i made it so figured i would share with all of you. Instead of using shredded hash browns we used tater tots. I smashed them up a little on the bottom. I also added some garlic powder and seasoning salt on top of the tater tots. It came out so good. I think adding the seasonings made it not so bland and the tater tots added more flavor then just regular hash browns. Hope this helps out others :)

This wanted too bad. It was a little bland. I'm thinking next time mixing everything together then sprinkle with cheese.

My daughter made this last week for my husband and herself. I was out of town. She said it never really firmed up, took a long time to cook. Also it was very bland. I did have some of the leftovers and I agree about the blandness. If we make it again, and we are not sure if we will save the recipe, it needs more seasoning, maybe some onion or garlic or something. Maybe there was too much liquid in relation to how much Bisquick is used. Whatever...it was not as tasty as some other recipes we have gotten from Betty.

My completed dish looked just like the picture, but looks are deceiving. It was not good at all and my kids said it was the worst dinner I've cooked in a long time. I rate this 2 spoons, because it was quick and easy, it looked appealing, but did not live up to my expectations for flavor.

When my kids were younger, I used to make this recipe for them and they loved it. It was very easy and yummy. I still make it for myself even though I live alone now. I do substitue broccoli for the peas. Very tasty.

I didn't have any shredded hashbrowns, so I thawed out frozen hashbrown patties and broke them up and put them in the bottom of my dish. I didn't use a pie dish either, I used a 8x8 baking glass pan. Another alteration I made to this deliscious Meatball Pie, was I used chopped broccoli instead of peas. My husband thought I had made a kieshe pie so he turned up his nose at it till it was almost gone, then he tried it and said it was so good he had 2 helpings of it. So there goes my left overs for my lunch this week.

My family and I love this recipe! My son especially. It is quick and easy and I definitely recommend trying it. Sometimes we make add sausage and meatballs for a different twist. Very tasty!
