My 4 amd 5 year olds declared this the best thing ever! :) I used mozzerella cheese instead of swiss because that was what I had since I found this recipe right before I made it with no planning.

My husband will not eat any food containing store bought Mayo. He says it contains too many chemicals and that ruins the taste. So I have to make Mayo in my blender and I keep a jar of it on hand. OR if I'm in a hurry, I'll use Ranch dressing in place of the Mayo without him knowing it and he doesn't notice the difference. The seasonings in Ranch dressing are different than what they are in Mayo. This was a great tasting dish and I'll make it again and again. Thanks for sharing.( I've been making your impossible easy pies since you first offered them many years ago).

I Made This, Doubled the recipe and broke up the bacon, added plain yogurt instead of the Mayo PLUS 1 Egg+1 Egg White... diced tomatoes (completely drained) chopped green peppers/onions (fajita leftover) and Cheddar Cheese(ExtraOntop the last 5 Minutes)! Put in an 8 X 10 Pan! Baked...came out Fluffy and Great! Condiments on the Side: Sour Cream (WONDERLAND!), Quacamole, Refried Beans, thin-sliced Onions, thin-sliced Lettuce, thin-sliced Tomatoes :) Olives and Pickled Peppers, Mayo and Ketchup 4 the Kiddz! HUGE HIT!!!!! :)

What is the purpose of mayo in this recipe??? Why must every good looking recipe have mayo in it?? What can be used instead of the mayo??

Incredibly tasty and incredibly easy to make. The serving size is skewed, I will make two next time. Left my family of six wanting more. Great flavors, inexpensive to make, and no problems with the picky people.

I made this according to the directions except chopped the tomatoes. It was very good, but will tweek it a bit next time. We thought it needed more bacon as well as the bacon and cheese being mixed into the batter rather than on the bottom.

I thought this was simple and easy. My twelve year old wouldn't eat it because of the mayo. He thought having mayo on the top was nasty.
