Ingredients

1/2
cup dried cranberries
2
cups flour
2
tablespoons brown sugar
2
teaspoons baking powder
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
cup cold butter
1
tsp orange zest
8
ounces sour cream
1
egg, beaten
1
cup powdered sugar
1
teaspoon orange juice
1/4
teaspoon almond extract

  • 1 Cut butter into dry ingredients.
  • 2 Add rest of ingredients except powered sugar, orange juice and almond extract, and mix as little as possible.
  • 3 Drop on to greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • 4 Mix powdered sugar, orange juice and almond extract. Ice scones with mixture before fully cool. Store in airtight container.
