A sweet citrus marinade infuses fresh strawberries with fantastic flavor that tastes great with creamy ice cream.

Ingredients

quart (4 cups) fresh strawberries
1/2
cup powdered sugar
1/4
cup orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice
1
quart strawberry or vanilla ice cream

Directions

  • 1 Cut strawberries in half; place in large bowl. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and liqueur; stir gently. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.
  • 2 Spoon strawberries over ice cream.

Try this recipe with raspberries or frozen yogurt.
