This recipe is getting a bad rap by others for some reason. I have this recipe and love it an get great compliments when I serve this at many functions. One thing I do that is quicker and easier is I do not boil the frozen hashbrowns. It causes them to be too watery. I place them in a glass bowl and put them in the microwave on defrost. Works great. I also do not add the mayo since I do not like it.
