tablespoon sugar

teaspoon salt

package/tablespoon yeast

cup hot water

tablespoon softened butter or margarine
1
can tomato sauce
cheese (shredded)
pepperoni
ham
  1. Dissolve yeast with hot water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add margarine.
  3. Add flour slowly while stirring.
  4. Knead dough for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangular shape.
  6. Place the filling in the center of the dough.
  7. Cut 1/2 inch strips equally on two opposite sides.
  8. Fold the fringe over filing.
  9. Brush the top of the completed pockets with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
