Hot Chicken Subs

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen breaded chicken breast patties
  • 2 loaves (1 pound each) French bread, cut horizontally in half
  • 1 cup creamy Italian dressing
  • Lettuce
  • 2 large tomatoes, thinly sliced

Steps

    Prepare chicken as directed on package.
  • 2
    Spread cut sides of bread with dressing. Layer half of the lettuce, hot chicken patties and tomatoes on each bottom half of bread. Top with top half of bread. Cut into slices.

  • Tuck some pickled peppers, often called pepperoncini, in your sandwich for authentic sub style!
  • Have a microwave? Use it for the chicken breast patties to shave at least 15 minutes off the bake time.
