Memories of Grandma’s kitchen might come back when you make this golden chicken on a bed of homey egg noodles.

Sorry my family did not care for this! It's not all that bad. Just not fond of the honey and chicken taste. We put it over rice instead. At some soy sauce. Not so bad!!

We loved it. The only change I made was to use bone-in chicken thighs and to serve it with rice because my husband is not a big noodle fan. Making it was easy and except for the bacon, I almost always have these ingredients in the house. I read the reviews that talked about the dish being watery, tasteless and no taste of honey. I am sure that was their experience, but after making this tonight, I have to wonder if we made the same recipe. Mine was NOT watery, had great flavor, and was ALMOST too sweet.

First thing first--does NOT look at all close to the picture, which is to no surprise. I followed the recipe to the t and it did not taste that good. It was edible, yes, but not worth the time and effort to make. The carrots tasted sour and the chicken had no flavor. There was a slight hint of the honey, but that was the smallest of smallest hint. I'd suggest--look for a different chicken recipe. Because this is not it.

It's was ok. I won't be using it again--mostly because I'm on a try it and go on bent.

It was ok, but not great. Everyone ate it, but I definitely won't make it again. Make sure you drain before adding the honey & vinegar.

I really liked the flavor, but the dish was too watered-down. Maybe drain the juices before adding the honey, vinegar, and thyme. Probably won't try again - the family wasn't impressed.

This chicken dish was so good. Even my kiddos cleaned their plates. I couldn't find boneless chicken thighs, so I bought bone in, then removed the bones and cubbed the chicken into bite size pieces. The chicken cooked a little faster this way, plus it was the perfect size for my kids. The sweetness of the honey and the tender carrots were amazing!
