I like this receipe because its premixed. I would like to know the nutrition value. I have to watch my fats and salt intake. Can I substitute light canola or olive oil in place of butter? Sylvia

I came across this recipe when I was looking through some of my old recipe booklets. I love this recipe. I make a lot of bread in my bread machine. This sure is a timesaver, since most of the ingredients are premixed and all you have to do is add the water, butter, mix and yeast. I also add 4 t. of vital wheat gluten, which is great for a better loaf of bread.

This was a great help when I was in a hurry to get baking.I just mixed the base up and printed out the directions for both 11/2lb loaf and 2lb loaf and attatched to the bag.Just add the amount of flour mix needed, and go on from there to make great breads, up to 10 loaves from one bag of the wheat bread machine mix.
