  1. Peel and cut the potatoes in thin strips.
  2. In a large bowl, mix water and salt together. Put the potatoes in it. Leave the potatoes in the salt water for five minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan on high heat. When the oil is hot, drain the potatoes and fry them.
