i made these dumplings tonight and they turned out good.. i dont have a betty crocker cookbood so im glad there is 1 on-line. i use it all the time.. thank u betty for putting it on the internet. as for uglydarling22 maybe u didnt cook them long enough.

I really love this recipe and I make it on top of chili -- omg --- soo good! Add a couple of spoonfuls of cornbread crumbs to the mix and you got yourself some soul food. :)

My mom makes the best chicken and dumplings. I have done many variations of the seasonings in these dumplings. Including sage, parsley, cheddar cheese, poultry seasoning, and many more. They flavor the dumplings and the broth so much they''re delicious.

i own a betty crocker''s cook book and i''ts the best.when i need a simple recipe i refer to betty.her recipes are very easy to follow and the results are very good.i am also very pleased that she has a web site i can refer to.i am missing a page that includes dumplings,so i went on her web site and found quite a few recipes for dumplings-thank you.i''m looking forward to the next recipe,thanks again betty crocker,your number one cooking fan
