These are great, but don't forget the foil step. It's very important!

"Holiday" trees? Is there more than one holiday that decorates trees? In red and green, no less.

My family loved these brownies. I added chocolate chips in the brownie mix. I noticed it's easier to cut the brownies if you put them in the freezer for an hour. Also, it's easier to put the candy cane in the brownie on the side of the brownie that was not touching the side of the pan. I added a mini gold M&M on top for a star.

These turned out just like the picture. Very impressive and a stand-out treat against the dozen other gift sweets I made for Christmas. Of course they taste yummy - I used a fool-proof mix as directed.

I made these for work gifts this holiday season and got raves! They are very easy to make. Make sure to not overcook the brownies so they stay moist.

I could not believe that these were so easy to make and it really didn't take all the long to decorate...Betty Crocker has come out with this icing that hardens nicely it's in a ready to use squeeze bag and it was the best thing since sliced bread...I will forever use this bag for my baking needs...But the brownie trees turned out great, my sister really enjoyed decorating with the kids I think the only thing was I couldn't find the mini candy canes so we improvised. Thank you again BC I have put them in bags along with a couple of candy cane sugar cookies and will be giving them out at church tomorrow... BAKENMOM - Garner, NC

This is such a fun and easy recipe to do with your child. My son loves to help me cook. He needed some cookies for his christmas party today(12-18-09), I found these on your website last night. We made them and they turned out great!! I am sure to get great reviews when my son gets home today from school.

This was extremely easy to make. I was rushing to get everything together for a family dinner and was able to make these during the craziness! And tastes yummy too!

Great idea - will consider giving as treats for my neighbors. However, those are Christmas trees.

They make a cute gift for any neighbors, teachers, raffles, etc. For more of a chocolatey flavor (they are already chocolatey, but i love the extra kick!) try adding hot fudge or chocolate syrup to the mixture. I also used chocolate covered peanut butter brittle sticks instead of the peppermint sticks.
