cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

to 2 tablespoons Betty Crocker® Decor Selects candy sprinkles, nonpareils or colored sugars
  • 1 Beat butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour
  • 2 Divide dough in half. Shape each half into roll, about 2 inches in diameter and about 6 inches long. Roll in candy sprinkles. Wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours until firm.
  • 3 Heat oven to 350°F. Cut rolls into 1/8-inch slices. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

They are super easy to make but kind of tasteless. I recommend doubling the vanilla and sprinkling a little sugar on top before they go into the over. Also if you are bringing them to a party make two batches.

Just go buy Pillbury sugar cookies already in a roll. Simply roll it in desired decorative sugars, slice, and bake. Could not be easier. And we already know how good Pillsbury sugar cookies are, not to mention no mixing of flour, sugar, etc.

I've made these cookies 3 years in a row now and I just can't get them to turn out right. They are tasteless and too time consuming for the disappointing end result.
