Holiday Melon Spritzer

cups ice

tablespoon granulated sugar

tablespoon orange zest

1

cup tequila

2

cups freshly squeezed orange juice

1

cup melor liquor

4

tablespoons grenadine

4

orange slices, melon, or cherries for garnish

• 1 Select 4 tall glasses. On a plate stir together the surag and the zest. Rub the outside rim of each glass with with an orange wedge or juice to moisten. Holding the glass an an angle, roll the outside rim of each glass in the sugar mixture. Repeat with each glass.
• 2 Fill each glass with 1 cup of ice. Add 1/4 cup of tequila, 1/2 cup of orange juice and stir. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of grenadine to each glass and let settle a the bottom.
• 3 Add 1/4 cup of melon liquor to the top of each glass. Do not stir. Garnish, and serve.
