Adding dried cranberries and orange peel to Betty Crocker white chip macadamia nut cookie mix gives you a holiday-ready cookie classic.

Deborah Harroun Recipe by Deborah Harroun
September 24, 2015

Ingredients

2
pouches (14 oz each) Betty Crocker™ white chip macadamia nut cookie mix
2/3
cup butter, softened
2
eggs
3/4
cup dried cranberries
Grated peel of 1 medium orange

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving edge hanging over 2 sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray.
  • 2 In medium bowl, mix both cookie mixes, butter and eggs. Stir in cranberries and orange peel. Pat mixture evenly in pan.
  • 3 Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and just set in middle. Cool completely, at least 30 minutes.
  • 4 Using foil as handles, remove bars from pan. Cut edges off bars, then cut in 4 rows by 4 rows.

Expert Tips

If you aren’t worried about making even bars for giving away, you can skip the foil, and just spray the pan.

Store bars in airtight container.
