I made this several times but I took the Bowl of Ice Cream out of the Freezer for a few minutes until slightly soft then added the Cake on top. I covered the top then put it back in the Freezer until I needed it after dinner. Inverted on a Oven safe Plate, added my Merengue Topping, Baked it and it was PERFECT! It's much easier to put the Cake on the top of the Ice Cream Dome than to turn it out.

Wonderful and easy recipe. I made it even easier by making the brownie layer out of a boxed brownie mix (it's my husband's favorite). The only recommendation I have is to make sure the ice cream is completely frozen before you put it on the brownie layer. Ours was not and it kept sliding around, making it harder to handle. That was more due to my impatience than the recipe. Other than that, great and easy recipe!
