For an easy meal that's ready in only 20 minutes, just add fresh herbs, olive oil and Parmesan cheese to a package of four-cheese ravioli.

Ingredients

family-size package (20 oz) refrigerated four cheese ravioli
1/3
cup olive oil

tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
2
tablespoons chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
1/2
teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/8
teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Grated peel of 1 lemon
1/4
cup shaved or shredded Parmesan cheese (1 oz)
Fresh basil sprigs, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Cook ravioli as directed on package; drain and return to saucepan.
  • 2 Add oil, basil, parsley, pepper flakes, salt, pepper and lemon peel; toss to coat.
  • 3 Divide ravioli among 4 serving bowls or plates. Top with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with basil sprigs.

Expert Tips

This also makes a great side dish.

To add more protein, add grilled chicken or shrimp.
